EY, a professional services firm and one of the Big 4 accounting firms, has partnered with FSU to provide a unique experience for students interested in gaining a global perspective of the business world. Students participating in the program will spend class time during the spring semester developing crucial interpersonal and intercultural skills needed for success in transitioning from college life into the corporate world. During spring break, students will travel to London, one of the world’s leading financial centers and the international headquarters of EY. While in London, students will visit the EY headquarters, meet with other professionals across the business and finance industries, and enjoy the rich history that London offers.

Eligibility

This program is open to interested undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines enrolled in the International Programs section of the Spring 2025 GEB 3934 / GEB 5086 Professional Development (S/U Only) on the Tallahassee campus. Students will attend classes on the Tallahassee campus during the entire spring semester and will go abroad as a component of the course during the specified dates.

Housing

While in London, participants will be housed in shared accommodations in central London. Overnight guests are not allowed in program housing. Click here for a list of nearby hotels for visitors.

Excursions & Group Activities

Plans may change due to unexpected events and/or new opportunities. Immersion and social events planned for this program may include:

  • Welcome dinner
  • Theatre performance
  • Office visits to companies such as EY’s headquarters, Moody’s Investors Services’ London office, and KPMG’s Canary Wharf’s office
  • Visits to the Tower of London, Royal Mews, Sky Garden, Tower Bridge, Borough Market, and St Paul’s Cathedral
  • Walking tours of historical central London and Canary Wharf area
  • Group lunch
  • Farewell lunch
